Special Foundation Consent
This agreement is required when you propose to construct special foundations (such as reinforced concrete) that extend beneath a party wall or party fence wall. In this circumstance, the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 requires the adjoining owner’s explicit written consent, which cannot be authorised by a surveyor or imposed by an award.
